Discover the Ultimate Bluewater Cruiser – The Xc 47
The Xc 47 represents a new generation of XCruising, combining elegance, high performance, and unmatched comfort for true ocean sailing. Designed with shorthanded sailing in mind, this yacht allows couples or small crews to cruise the world safely and effortlessly.
Every detail has been optimized for ease and style. The cockpit layout puts all lines within reach of the helmsman, with four strategically positioned winches and all trim lines led under deck with reachable jammers. The traveller is relocated forward of the sprayhood, creating a spacious, functional cockpit while leaving room for a comfortable living area. A deep, protected cockpit with a closed transom features a full-width aft seating area and sunbathing space – perfect for offshore comfort.
The Xc 47’s hull maintains the deep V-shaped bow, generous rocker, and higher stern overhang of previous Xc models, while the wider aft with a soft chine improves stability, performance, and cabin space. Built from vacuum-infused epoxy/e-glass with carbon reinforcements at high-load areas, this yacht is strong yet light.
Additional innovations include a longer, integrated bowsprit with optional electric gennaker furler, an optional bow ladder and handrail, and integrated transom davits with “easy launch” function for dinghies. The steering wheels are now 100 cm in diameter with extra space for ultimate comfort.
From advanced hull design to intelligent sail handling and luxurious cockpit features, the Xc 47 is the ideal bluewater cruiser – where safety, performance, and style meet for your next ocean adventure.
